Last year, right before the holidays, Abby and Angelo headed to Mexico. Abby was excited to unplug and spend time in the sun. Angelo had grand plans and a ring box burning a hole in his pocket.
Throughout the trip Angelo was setting up meetings with the hotel coordinators and a photographer for the big moment. He would occasionally run off on a “call for work” and bring his bag with him. Abby trusted him and didn’t think much of it. Mid way through the trip, the big night finally arrived. They made their way to a romantic sunset dinner for two on the beach. A photographer from the hotel casually greeted them and asked if they wouldn’t mind smiling for a few shots. When Abby was in place, Angelo got down on one knee under the palm trees and asked her to be his wife. She obviously said yes, because then the remainder of that beach trip would have been awkward. But seriously. She did excitedly say yes. The rest of their evening was so special as the warm ocean breeze danced around them as they dreamed of wedding plans and the next chapter of their life together.
If you turn back a few pages you’ll find out that Abby and Angelo met in high school. They so happened to follow one another to college and that is where their relationship really took root. Their friendship grew and before they knew it they were in love.
These two are so enjoyable to be around. They are both so easy going and genuine. I couldn’t wait to photograph them for their engagement session and be in their company. I know we would have talked for hours at their session in downtown Hershey except that it was pretty darn cold outside. What a drastic change from a year ago when they were relaxing on the beach in the warm Mexican sun. (I know, I know don’t rub it in). These two were troopers for withstanding the Central PA windchill. They look stunning and their chemistry is so cute. Thankfully, they will be celebrating a beautiful summer wedding next year at Wyndridge Farms. No wind chill to worry about. I can’t wait to celebrate with you!
