I walked out of the parking garage in Old City Philadelphia. The temperatures were perfect and felt just a little bit like fall without completely letting go of summer. I saw a well dressed couple heading the same direction that my phone told me to go. I recognized the gold dress from emails back and forth and knew that it had to be them. Lindsay and Andrew were just as I remembered them when we met during their consultation. They were both very kind, personable and easy to talk to. (I really am blessed with the best couples!)
We arrived at the Merchant’s Exchange building and I talked through different poses and expectations. Within the first few minutes I knew we were going to have a fun session. Lindsay and Andrew are such naturals!! Within the first few minutes of seeing them interact, I could tell that they are perfect for one another. You know when you see two people together and you can tell they just match? Their chemistry is so effortless. And they look great together!
Lindsay and Andrew met in the Philly area when they joined a local softball team. They talked after the game at a local bar and made a connection right away. This past spring Andrew proposed to Lindsay at a local park where her brother was there to capture her glowing smile. I loved hearing about their story, love of traveling and other adventures together.
As our time together was coming to a close, I was getting ready to head to my car and let these two enjoy a dinner date downtown. Instead of saying our official goodbyes, they invited me to join them for dinner!! I was so touched! It just confirmed how incredibly kind these two are. We enjoyed the rest of the night chatting, eating great food and enjoying the sounds of the competing jazz bands on opposite corners of our dinner table.
Lindsay and Andrew, I am so excited that I get to see you two again for your wedding day at the Manor House at Commonwealth! Can’t wait!
