If I had to use two phrases to describe Hannah and John’s love for one another it would be, “full of joy” and “deeply romantic”. Their engagement session at Gifford Pinchot State Park reflected both of those phrases to a tee. Hannah and John have a lot of fun together! They laugh a lot and are not afraid to look silly and be silly in front of one another. They can be fully themselves. I loved when Hannah would laugh so hard with John that she crinkled her nose, because you knew it was genuine.

Hannah and John are pros at having their photos taken. We have a funny history together of having family photos taken in sub degree temperatures. Just this year on Leap Day, John got down on one knee and proposed to Hannah at Longwood Gardens. John asked me to tag along and hide in the bushes nearby to capture their special moment. It was freezing that day too. They have now been in front of my camera at least three times and remembered what to do! They were so comfortable that they really enjoyed being together and having fun. John took full advantage of having the opportunity to wrap Hannah in his arms and share long romantic kisses.

On top of planning a wedding, John and Hannah have been remodeling a new home. We talked about moving rooms and getting new floors. All of their projects have been non-stop. Their engagement session became a nice time away to slow down for a few hours together.

Hannah and John are getting married this next spring! Yes, spring! Their wedding day will be absolutely spectacular. These two are so in love. I cannot imagine how happy they will be as a newly married couple on their big day.
