Michelle and Kyle walked into the Cescaphe Water Works Engine House ballroom with eyes sparkling and joyful smiles. After months of planning, the vision for their wedding reception was a reality. Colorful spring florals adorned each champagne table cloth. Pastel candle sticks gave the perfect romantic warmth to the room that Michelle had envisioned for the reception space. A carefully decorated tall white cake stood in the corner, mimicking the firework-like beading in Michelle’s bridal gown. Their puppy, Max, was even popping out of the back of the cake for that added personal touch. Every detail was perfect.
Their whole wedding day was flawless and fun. Michelle put a lot of work into the planning process and it paid off! The Cescaphe team did an amazing job bringing it to life. Even the weather cooperated and graced them with beautiful sunny skies.
In the morning, after the girls were ready, they left the salon and walked out to the tall white Cescaphe Trolley. Michelle had a mix of nerves and joyful anticipation as they drove toward the Loew’s Hotel to pick up the guys. The next stop was the Rodin Museum for the “first look”. As the trolley came to a halt, we saw the groomsmen surrounding the blindfolded groom, guiding him toward us. Kyle shuffled toward the back and waited patiently for our next stop.
The Rodin Museum was an ideal location for the first look and bridal party portraits. Within the courtyard, the tall marble structure blocked the noise of the city traffic. It has also a perfect aesthetic to match the Water Works wedding venue’s colonnades and arches.
The bride and groom stood adjacent to the black ornamental gate, waiting anxiously to see one another. Michelle walked toward Kyle and called his name. He turned around and greeted his bride with a loving smile. The nerves melted off of their shoulders as they embraced and talked. For the rest of the day, these two smiled from ear to ear.
Michelle and Kyle are a perfect match. Michelle is thoughtful, detailed and hardworking. Kyle is easy going, diligent and kind. These two are easy to be around. It’s no wonder they had so many life long friends at their wedding. The place settings were all personalized with a photograph of the couple with the guest. (If they didn’t have one handy, there was a sweet picture of Max.) The wedding toasts reflected these same sentiments of the bride and groom’s quality character traits.
As the sun set over the Delaware River, Michelle and Kyle danced the night away with their favorite people. They deserved such a beautiful day to celebrate their love.
Michelle and Kyle, it was an absolute honor photographing your wedding day! I am so happy for you two! Thank you for being a wonderful couple and so easy to work with. Congratulations again!
