Sophie and Zach are expecting their first baby this spring. Downtown Lititz was the perfect place for their maternity session to celebrate this new life. Zach grew up in Lititz and it has become a favorite place for Sophie too. We started off in Lititz Springs Park by a sunny staircase, adjacent to the stream that flows through downtown Lititz as well. It was a gorgeous day for their maternity session. A lovely March evening with hints of spring weather. After we spent some time in the park, we slowly made our way toward the downtown area. There is so much to see in Lititz! It’s hard not to take a photo on every corner in front of their beautiful historic buildings.

I’ve had the honor of photographing Sophie and Zach since the beginning of their relationship. A few years ago I photographed them together at Messiah College in the fall, right before they got engaged. Their engagement session was at Longwood Garden on a snowy January morning. They asked me to be their photographer and maid of honor for their destination beach wedding in North Carolina. When they decided it was time to start a family, they even asked me to take their pregnancy announcement photos. What a privilege for me to document these sweet milestones in their life and now one of the most exciting of all, a new baby!

Sophie and Zach are going to be the best parents. They are very thoughtful, hardworking and diligent. I know they will make sure their baby has everything they need and that they check in on one another. I cannot wait to meet their little one. I’m sure in the next few months you can expect to see this sweet family of three featured together.
