“Congratulations!”, “You look so beautiful!” and the beeping of the car horns resounded over and over as this gorgeous couple embraced one another on the Capitol building steps. We honestly lost count of how many people rolled their windows down and expressed their well wishes.
Spending the day with these two felt like spending the day with your royal best friends. They are handsome, tall and just look like movie stars. They are not only stunning on the outside but fabulous on the inside. We had so much fun taking pictures! There was so much laughter that it was like hanging out with my closest friends. The most beautiful part of the day was watching the way Joe would look at his wife. There was deep, genuine love behind his smile. Mokie just adores Joe and thoroughly enjoys laughing with him. Mokie and Joe, you both have joyful and beautiful souls.
One of the highlights of the evening was the cake cutting. When they cut into the cake the homemade buttercream icing it revealed three layers of decadent chocolate cake. Thank you, Favored Sweets and Treats, for the gorgeous wedding cake that was just as elegant and as grand as our state capitol venue. To be honest, I was just as excited for them to cut into the cake because I got to taste it and it was heavenly! There was no compromise on taste.
Thank you, Nadine from Lancaster Flower Co.! You brought these pictures to life with the gorgeous pops of color in your floral designs. Your arrangements were so sophisticated and vibrant. I was so excited to work with you for this wedding shoot and I appreciate you so much!
Mokie and Joe had wedding pictures taken at this venue on their own wedding day eleven years ago, but don’t have husband and wife photos. Unfortunately, the photos were lost and they just have a few captured from family members. I love how God works to brings things together and makeup for what was lost.
